Country Sales Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) – China / 中国区销售经理 – 储能系统

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to drive the growth of our fire detection and fire suppression business within China's rapidly expanding Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) market.

This is a strategic business development role responsible for promoting our portfolio of fire protection solutions, including clean agent suppression, nitrogen (N) systems, pre-action sprinklers, fire detection systems and special hazard technologies to leading battery manufacturers, developers and EPC contractors across China.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, influencing and securing major BESS projects from specification through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the China sales strategy for the BESS market.
• Generate new business and achieve annual sales targets.
• Build relationships with key BESS manufacturers, developers and end users.
• Secure product specifications with consultants, engineering companies and design institutes.
• Develop strong relationships with EPC contractors, system integrators, fire protection contractors and channel partners.
• Manage complex project sales throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular market intelligence on customers, competitors and industry trends.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events and technical seminars.

Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years' experience in technical sales or business development.
• Strong knowledge of the Chinese Battery Energy Storage Systems market.
• An established network within major BESS manufacturers, EPC contractors, consultants and system integrators.
• Experience selling technical solutions into large, complex projects.
• A proven track record of developing new business and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills.

Experience within fire detection, fire suppression, special hazards, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, critical infrastructure or industrial automation will be highly regarded.
