The upcoming application deadline is 23rd November 2026 to attend this Winter's New Staff Orientation from 27th to 29th January 2027 (P2C Essentials) & the MPD Foundations every Friday February 5, 12, 19 & 26 (paced format). Mode of training (online / virtually), and other information will be shared closer to January 2026.

About the Application:

• The application has to be completed in one sitting. It will take about 25 minutes to complete the application.
• References are requested in this application. We ask for pastoral, spiritual mentor, employer, peer, and Staff references. The references should:
• not include immediate family members (cousins, uncles, aunties, etc).
• have a different person listed for each type of reference.
• References are contacted shortly after we receive your application. If you do not want us to contact certain references at this point, please identify this in the references section.
• Applications take approximately 20 business days to be fully processed. The process includes contacting references and two interviews.

Qualifications:

• As a missions organization, staff members are viewed as spiritual leaders. Staff members also develop a team of ministry partners to financially and prayerfully support the ministry. Due to the demands of raising funds and being in the front lines of ministry, we take into consideration an applicant’s financial responsibilities and emotional and mental resiliency to face the demands of ministry. New Staff Orientation:

• Commissioned (full-time, permanent), Associate (part-time, permanent) Staff and Interns are required to attend the New Staff Orientation (NSO) that is closest to their application acceptance date. The next NSO is planned for January 2027.
• If accepted, there will be online training modules that a new staff member will have to complete prior to coming to New Staff Orientation. This is a mandatory pre-requisite requirement to attending NSO, please set aside time to complete this pre-training work.
